Rights & Permissions: Electronic
Electronic Website and Library Reserve Permissions

We will be happy to review your request for academic usage of SUNY Press material in electronic format. It is recommended that you allow up to 4 weeks to receive a response, as these requests require more extensive permissions clearance. Please note that if you wish to place material on library reserve, do not place your request until you can confirm the enrollment and that the course remains as scheduled. Your request will then be given priority.

Electronic permission requests will be granted on a per semester basis for a minimum fee of $40 or .15 per page times the number of students enrolled, whichever is greater. The following restrictions apply: One may not use, copy, publish, upload, download, post to a bulletin board, archive the content, add to a permanent database or otherwise transmit, distribute or modify any contents of the site in any way. One may download one copy of such contents on any single computer for their own personal non-commercial use, provided one do not alter or remove any copyright, author attribution, or other proprietary notices.

If you wish us to process your request for electronic use, please mail or fax your request on university or business stationery (requests sent via e-mail are not guaranteed to be expedited and may be delayed until receipt of a faxed or mailed copy) and include the following information as it applies to your situation:
