J. Amos Hatch is Professor Emeritus of Education at the University of Tennessee. He is the author of Teaching as a Human Activity: Ways to Make Classrooms More Joyful and Effective and Reclaiming the Teaching Profession: Transforming the Dialogue on Public Education, among other books.
